How to be Sun Smart

In term 1 and term 4 it is summer.It is so important to wear a hat, appropriate clothing,Sit under the tree and put on sunscreen.This help’s  you to be protected by sunburn and helps you keep safe.

The best things to be sun smart is to wear a hat and appropriate clothing.The best hat you could wear is a bucket hat because it protects around your head and protects your ears as well.You could also wear shorts when you are hot so that your legs don't sweat.

Another second best thing to be sun smart is to sit under the tree.The tree protects all of your body and it is even shadier. You don’t need to wear a hat or shorts because the tree’s are shady for you to sit in.

My last best thing to be sun smart is to put sunscreen on.Sunscreen protects you from sunburn because sunburn makes your body stay the same.Sunscreen even does not make your body burn only if you don’t put on sunscreen.

Remember,To keep safe when it is summer and don’t get sunburn and stay tan.Keep going and never give up.It is not really hard to keep sun smart.

The Water cycle

The water Cycle is a process that goes over and over again.The water cycle goes through evaporation,condensation and precipitation.

One of the first most important part of the water cycle is evaporation.When the sun comes out it evaporates the water.Then the water turns into steam and goes up to the sky.

After water evaporates.Once it is into the sky it turns into clouds and that is the process of condensation.When the clouds  combined together it starts to cool down.

And that is when It starts precipitation.Once the clouds are all bunch up together and cools down it starts to rain,hail and snow.

After that It becomes up in the surface run-off.It goes to the surface run-off down the mountain and then it goes down the lake’s,pipes and pools.

It is called the water cycle because the process goes around in a cycle that is why it is called the water cycle.

Science

Today in science,we experimented with puddles and water.

At 11:54 we first got some water and poured it out on the courts,it spread everywhere.The hard part was when we got a chalk and we had to draw the outlines of the puddles.We talked about what will happen next when we come back.

At 12:00 we went backed and checked our puddle it started to get even smaller but one end was smaller and the other end was bigger.the other end,some of the water went over the outline and the other end evaporated.

After lunch we went back to check again all of the water evaporated.The sun heated up all of the water.

Our own keychains

Our own keychains for our chromebook case.

Last week and this week Room 13 have been working with Mrs haydon on our key chains.Mrs haydon said to us that we need it for our chromebook case because our chromebook case names are disappearing.She started by learning shapes and what is the Area,Perimeter,Function,Size,Height and width.Then she showed us a website called tinkercad we started to work on our size and what we needed to do.I decided to do a heart that says M.M.I could not wait for my keychain.When I get my keychain I will be so happy.

Going Halloween

Halloween

In the morning I was getting up so early to find my costume for Halloween.I was very excited and terrified.I stayed up the whole afternoon watching the clock.When it was 4:00 I jumped up and got ready.My Nana and aunty were sleeping I woke them up quickly then went down the streets.

Me my Nana and my aunty went trick or treating.After going trick or treating we went up to the May Road church and there was a light party happening I was so excited when I got inside.I was already scared to see lots of kids dressed up as scary costume.

I saw nearly all of my friends from my school.I decided to tell all of my friends if we could all stay together and do something.Me and my friends first went down to the games we got some lollies.We played lots of different kind of games.After playing games we went to get an ice block and sausage sizzle.

After going to the light party we went back home and we ate my lollies.My sister and my mum came back home.They had lollies too but chocolate. They.They shared some when I said trickle or treat.

Remember,to go trick or treating to get some lollies to eat.I love Halloween.
