Science with Sally-Term 4

Today Sally came and we learned about wasting water.Waste is water that we use from our house.We waste water by washing the dishes,toilet water,water that we use to brush our teeth and shower water.

Once you waste it,it goes down the sewerage pipes and then it goes to a factory and it takes and day and a half to fill it up and empty it.



This is Harriet and James putting plastic tubes in the red and yellow cans.
They were trying to mix it so it can be a rainbow colour.

    Hi Meleane,

    I really like how you mentioned what happens to wastewater once it leaves our house. What happens when it gets the treatment station? How does it get clean again?

    Please remember to think carefully about what happened. Do red and yellow make green? Is that what James and Harriet were trying to do?
